With the resources she found, she was able to gather enough donations and pledges to help her family move into a low income housing unit in the next town over. One agency supplied\u00a0<a href=\"#\">furniture<\/a>; a food bank stocked their shelves with food. It was a miracle!<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left\">In the years that followed, Nicole helped friends and family find help with their needs, too. She was constantly being asked to help others find resources with\u00a0<a href=\"#\">rent<\/a>, food, medical coverage, dental care, veterinary expenses,\u00a0<a href=\"#\">transportation<\/a>\u00a0and more.<\/p>\n<p>Eventually, she realized that she could use my experience as a researcher and writer to help a\u00a0much larger audience.
